This
machine is equipped with a 12" chuck, a 30HP main spindle
and has a 24" shaft capacity. It has a 24 position automatic
tool changer and can be loaded with any combination of turning
or milling tools. This is a full 4-Axis machine, and can mill
complex shapes such as helical flutes. It can also position to
any rotational degree.
The advantage of this machine is that parts can be completed
with fewer set-ups. No complicated fixturing is required. Far
greater accuracy is achieved with much faster thru-put, since
secondary operations do not require an additional machine. |
